Hi Readers,
Yesterday i wrote about “prejudice” which is similar to discrimination in the sense that both are negative forces in life. So today i will be writing about “discrimination”, as we know, discrimination is a action which is the treatment you received from people. There 2 type of discrimination, direct and indirect discrimination.
A direct discrimination is a very straightforward kind of saying such as, Someone who doesn’t want to talk to you or shows that he doesn’t want to talk to you due to your race, gender, your appearance or any sorts. Discriminating can also be in verbal such as someone who discriminate fat, skinny, dirty people, it is much more of a instigating rather then a discriminating, however it is still consider a act of discriminant.
A indirect discrimination is often less obvious then direct discrimination, for example, A qualify person is eligible for a job but due to certain reason he is not able to get it, due to rules, regulation. however it also a negative remarks or action. Yet people don’t realize how they discriminate people. Their actions which makes people feel that they are being discriminated.
So have you been discriminating other or are you being discriminated ? the moment someone is discriminating of others or something, is the moment we do not realized that we are also discriminating our view. Our view is our judgmental way of understanding the differences of right and wrong.
However you can view discriminating as a compliment or as a motivation forces, why let others judge you? you are the only one accountable to yourself. So there isn’t a need to pleased people, you just got to be yourself in every way.
“You’ve got to be brave and you’ve got to be bold. Brave enough to take your chance on your own discrimination – what’s right and what’s wrong, what’s good and what’s bad.” – Quoted by Robert Frost

Always get discriminated for being short =(
Yes,discrimination can be an energy to push yourself. But mostly discrimination applies on race or color of the skin..or known as racism. Well, discrimination will slowly lead to harassment. As far as i concern..there are just too many cases of indirect..you just have to deal with it.
haha! leo! don’t feel discriminated for some reason, you are who you are. Not others.
Yes! lot’s of discrimination applies on races and religion. But most importantly is dealing of discrimination.
thats the saddest fact…
Exactly abbey, that’s the saddest fact

Always look yourself before judging others
“Sometimes, I feel discriminated against, but it does not make me angry. It merely astonishes me. How can any deny themselves the pleasure of my company? It’s beyond me.”

being discriminated doesnt mean that they dont like you at all its just a fact that somethings wrong with you. just cope with it though its sad that they cant accept what you are
Awww
dont feel discriminated though. At least you are able to face it. Some can’t, you are strong in ur mind.
Nhatz: yeah thats right
discrimination is most common n the 3rd sex ryt ? most esp the girly girly . u know what i mean . and those not gifted with good height , etc etc .
“there’s something wrong with you already, and yet they’re making fun of you still.” how sad. hais
John: Nope discriminated does means something is wrong with you, so example a handicap person, are u discriminated of handicap users? or you sympathize them?
Shawn
oh I miss reading your page.
I have school now.
Discrimination, pretty much like prejudice.
Everyone has rights, no one should be discriminated to anything. Before discriminating, look at the mirror and ask if you’re perfect.
^^
have a good day
SAY NO TO DISCRIMINATION!!
omg .. ppl are discriminating me .. always say i look so skinny >,<
Thanks gherick, yeah quite similar they falls under the same category.
Yes tim! say no to discrimination! i like that!
Hani: why are they discriminating you because you are skinny? however you shouldn’t feel that way though/
discrimination is a part of growing up…there is no single person in this world who doesnt get discriminated am i wrong?…
i can relate to that topic because i myself experience it during my college entrance exam (PMA) when i arrive at the location they said i can’t take the exam because of my lack in height. sometimes reality can be too cruel.
if youre being discriminated dont feel so much down
cope up with it. use it as your strength if they cant accept what you are and who you are. be it
its not your lost at all
If you judge people you have no time to love them.
Whats?! can’t take exam because of height? ridiculous!
Wow vhanie
nice word there!
Yes Melai
great understanding
thanks shawn ^^
Rastaraven: your not wrong! everyone is sure to be discriminated of something, there is flaws in everyone.
thanks shawn.my pleasure.
Here i go
Well i certainly think that discrimination is a part of life, whether you like it or not, it is some kind of way to express people for their liking or dislikes.
Some discrimination towards others may be harsh, but the discriminated have to accept it and think about what made them discriminated.
However some discrimination towards appearance or what is naturally gifted by Him is unacceptable and almost nonsense. It is true that some maybe imperfect(is there such word? hehe) down to the core, but maybe everyone should look at the mirror and realize that no one is even near perfection.
I’ve made all kinds of friends, with all sorts of shapes and sizes and styles. And I like them because of their presence as a friend and not some kind of what you call a flower vase @_@ << erm something like a beatiful object just for show.
