Hi Readers,
Yesterday 8th of March is a exciting day for me, as i got my posting to polytechnic. The moment i was checking my posting i had a feeling that was indescribable, it’s a feeling of anticipation. So today i will be writing about “anticipation”. Everyone has a feeling of anticipation, it’s a kind of emotion. It’s where we await eagerly for a outcome. Anticipation can be shown in many way, however i will be more general on it.
Whenever we are waiting for a result, competition, race or any form of a outcome. We have the feeling of anticipation, it’s a feeling hard to control yet it naturally shown by itself. Anticipation is also a expectation, hope, prediction, everyone has high hope or high expectation, which is why we anticipate for the outcome, a positive or negative outcome.
People anticipate for something, a reason or outcome. Who doesn’t feel anticipation? It make us excited, make us happy, make us sad and many different other emotions. I believe everyone who is making their life full of surprises have the feeling of anticipation. Rather then a person who leads a dull life, be a person who creates lively things and turn them into different pleasure in life.
However anticipation can also be a process of learning, whenever we anticipate something, we are actually going through a state of unconscious. It’s where we start guessing and hallucinate about answers, doubting on stuffs and more. Have you gone through this state before? Make anticipation a sense of excitement and be optimistic in life, turn opportunity into a form of anticipation. The outcome can be positive or negative, if you indulge too much in your expectation, the outcome may be a negative one.
“An intense anticipation itself transforms possibility into reality; our desires being often but precursors of the things which we are capable of performing.” Quoted by Samuel Smiles

Timmy: Thank you Timmy! Hope you like it.

kaye: Exactly it is like hope, which also is same as expect
yeah but dont expect too much
coz too much is when we get the reult and its unexpected reseult its so much hurt =) god bless
One of my professor actually told us in class that anticipating for a positive result if we are waiting for an outcome will eventually yield a positive result. Anticipation thus is like an energy that can give a positive or good result. cool la ~
Kaye: Exactly, don’t expect too much as it can be a negative outcome.
Cindy: Your right! it is positive result. However it can also be negative if we expect too much of it.
Too high of an anticipate will lead to sadness if it fails yeah.
“Who doesn’t feel anticipation? It make us excited, make us happy, make us sad and many different other emotions.”
an example would be like waiting for the results of my quizzes. the long wait could either make me happy, or sad.
first time to comment ! keep it up !
Anyway Shawn which poly did you get posted to?
YEAH THERE IS ALWAYS A REASON FOR ANTICIPATION. AND DONT EXPECT TOO MUCH FOR NOT TO GET THE NEGATIVE OUTCOME.

I think of anticipation as some kind of emotion that brings great pleasure and anxiety since we’ve awaited for it or have expected some results. Although in some case, it could be an irritation of having to wait for something.
Sometimes this feeling of anticipation in me brings some wierd effects like having butterflies in my stomach, or sometimes smile uncontrollably << yea sometimes ppl think im crazy. :p
I usually dont expect great results not because i'm scared that i will fail or the result will turn out badly, but if the result turns out better than expected, i'll go happier and get the feeling of accomplishment.
Elfie: That’s amazing! great! well i anticipate my result and it was a great feeling. Nervous and lots of emotions being mixed together.
