Appreciation

Hi Readers,

Yesterday i wrote about Instinct, but today, my topic has no relation to Instinct. However, the topic that i’m writing today  is linked to almost everyday of our life, it’s called “appreciation”. It’s being use daily as part of our life, appreciation comes in when we like to express our gratitude. So that’s why i will be writing about “appreciation”  today.

Appreciation may also be the same as being contented, however, i feel that both are different. Appreciation is more of a lesson, to feel that you have been valued or have been helpful towards others.

Life is full of amazing things that include all of us. We all express our appreciation to everyone, be it friends, family, foe or strangers. We have a basic thought of appreciation in us, we always have a courtesy to say “thank you”. However, there are some people who does not show appreciation after someone lend them a hand or after sharing information with them, they did not say a word of thanks and yet they are still being arrogant about it.

When someone receive a word of appreciation, it would be a joyous moment. It’s when you have done something good, your karma will increase for every good deed you do. Praising is also another way of appreciating other people’s work or knowledge. Appreciation can also be used in many other ways, such as appreciation of food, appreciation of thoughts, appreciation of guidance and many more.

Humans should appreciate everything around them as we were given a path to walk on when we’re given birth into this world. We should all feel appreciated, am I right? We always neglect those who helped us and did not show appreciation towards them. Even if someone who doesn’t want to show appreciation, we should never bear grudges because we can show appreciation to other people and eventually we will receive appreciation from others.

Hope you readers appreciate my writing too! :)

“Feeling appreciated is one of the most important needs that people have. When you share with someone your appreciation and gratitude, they will not forget you. Appreciation will return to you many times.”

shawn you are really good in this field.. keep it up..

    much appreciated

  2. Generally, appreciation means some blend of thankfulness, admiration, approval, and gratitude. In the financial world, something that “appreciates” grows in value. With the power tool of appreciation, you get the benefit of both perspectives: as you learn to be consistently thankful and approving, your life will grow in value.

    :)

  3. Learn to appreciate every gifts of life.
Be contented with what you haveeeee…

  4. Appreciation makes people more lively, in a way that they will know someone do care for them and appreciate their thoughts. Appreciating things and people can also set a good picture of that person. Good choice of topic Shawn :D

  7. Bennjoe: Haha! i appreciate every little comment, yeah! my past topic is “instinct” i can’t relate anything to instinct at all. haha!

  8. glenn talked about growing in value for a financial definition, but this definition is true for the matter we have in concern : feeling appreciated makes you grow as you feel alive through the eyes of someone else, giving you existence out of yourself, in something bigger :)
