Hi Readers,
Today my topic is a rather unusual one compared to the rest as it is different from all my other writing,hope you guys won’t mind me writing this. Everyone loses interest in something during a point in their life, either when they are down or when they are maturing, it’s a feeling of indifference. Normally they would just say they lose interest or doesn’t have any motivation in doing anything, however the correct word to use for this situation is “apathy”. That’s right, the topic that I’m writing today will be about “apathy”.
Most of us do not know the meaning of apathy, it might be a new word to us but this word has also been known to some of them. Apathy is an emotional feeling where one has lost his or her motivation,interest or enthusiasm in a certain thing. For instance, a person who loves baseball, yet suddenly stopped playing due to lack of interest or motivation, that is apathy.
Apathy can also be shown on how you treat someone else, you may treat the person differently from before, or might give him or her a cold shoulder, it’s a sudden feeling when you have apathy as you see your life differently from others. When one is going through a state of apathy, he will look at things in a different view and start to reflect. It’s a lack of interest at a point of time, human emotional is compromised when we are through a state of thinking or self-learning.
Apathy is used in political and many area, however the most important in apathy is how we overcome the problem of lack of interest, concern, motivation and others. Like i said, apathy is a sudden urge of feeling, you won’t know when it will come as we can’t prevent apathy. But we have someone else to drive us in life.( To be revealed tomorrow)

wow , am i apathetic? haha . maybe.. sometimes ? LOL . i sometimes hold my emotions back and ds somehow makes people think im apathetic when im not . i wonder if apathy really exists or is it just people r holding back their emotions..
i show concern , but not all the time but it doesnt mean im apathetic .

Marl: Yes it’s not really comparing, but a lost in something. Yes i encounter this before. I lost interest in a certain thing and i overcome it.
hmm apathy sounds like the ‘emo’ state of mind most teenagers have experienced. It may be a good thing I guess, cause when you lack emotions, sometimes you are able to see things clearer and make a better decision for your life
(sorry not able to elaborate more about my own view of apathy, cause it’s my first time hearing of this term haha)
Annalie: Not really a change, it’s just they don’t want to continue the same thing they have been doing. Like a interest or a motivation. They felt lost.
