Hi Readers,
Today is 1st of May, it’s a new month and a new beginning too. In the years of living, we will meet different kind of people in life, there are many kind of people in this society, we just don’t know what kind they are until they have shown their real characteristic and personality. But i would like to write about a certain aspect of that “kind” of people we have in this society, which is selfishness. So today i will be writing about “Selfishness”.
Humans never really show their true characteristic and personality, most i would say would deliberately show you their other characteristic and personality so that you would actually believe that it is true. However the fact is that most humans only show their superficial side of themselves.
Selfishness is a common aspect that everyone would have, humans can be selfish in sharing knowledge and keeping it to oneself or selfish in lending things. There is many thing to do with selfishness in life, however there is one selfishness value, which is human only benefit themselves because of selfishness, and can use all method including using friends or people around them to gain it.
Many of us will encounter people with this kind of people in life, it’s hard to differentiate if they are kind or selfish but one thing for sure is that everyone have selfish thoughts. A thoughts of selfishness for benefits or helping others, many thing is just indescribable. Selfishness is just a conceptual writing of my understanding, you can read it and understand it but do not have to take it so seriously.
I once said everyone point of view on things is different, for working adults they have their own mindset of theirs, for youth who are studying they have their own mindset too. It’s the view that make us unique but not special. Enjoy.

Most of us assume that selfishness is both wrong and unhealthy. But is this true? Selfishness means acting in one’s rational self-interest. Contrary to popular opinion, all healthy individuals are selfish. Choosing to pursue the career of your choice is selfish. Choosing to have children—or not to have children—is selfish. Insisting on freedom and individual rights, rather than living under a dictatorship, is selfish. Indeed, even ordinary behaviors such as breathing, eating and avoiding an oncoming car when crossing the street are selfish acts. Without selfishness, none o f us would survive the day—much less a lifetime. Selfishness does not mean self-destructive behavior.
MAKE SENSE ? ÜÜ
Eden: make sense for the top half. second half is not right though. If we live life in selfishness are we only deeming ourselves as the interest? which means we put ourselves above anything else? i believe selfish acts have to be classified into different kinds. It’s really not morally right to say that selfishness help survive the day.
its true that everyone can be selfish. however we must know when to be selfish or when to let our selflessness take over us. this will make us better persons.
