Hi Readers,
Lately there have been many things happening around me, but i am able to cope with it, I have been thinking lately on which topic i show write first, i have lots of questions that needs answers. However i still made a decision to write about today’s post.
In life, you can either be a direct person or an indirect person, being direct means being frank to each other, rather then beating around the bush and still ends up the same.It is similar to honesty, So i will be writing about “Frankness” today.
There are many different ways of defining frankness, the quality of being honest and straightforwardness in every attitude and speech or open and sincere in expression, which means direct. However the relation to frankness which is honesty plays a big role in expressing the truth.
Human’s honesty comes in many different ways of expressing, there is 2 different kind of expressing frankness to other people. Direct and indirect, many people would go for the indirect ways because they fear of hurting the other person’s feeling and that is why they beat around the bush and make one big round before saying.
The undeniable truth is that humans never really voice out their views, most humans tend to be soft-spoken and are intimidated, however they should speak out/voice out their truth feelings and understandings. Being frank to people around us is important, rather then beating around the bush and telling stories. BUT humans nature is soft, sometimes there is no choice but to accommodate or compromise with other people, it’s relatively a fact that we can be soft hearten as well.
We should just frankly say the truth and lastly it depends on the person to accept it or not. It’s not for you to think that the person will accept your frankness, it may be hurtful and devastated but rather then dragging or lying, it’s still better to be frank.

your post right now just reminds me of the movie “The Invention of Lying.” It showed me of how sad life would be if everyone were frank and honest.
hmm good article, frankness can indeed be direct or indirect, but not fully expressing our feelings/emotions doesn’t mean we are not being frank (:

I agree, you can either beat around the bush or just tell them straight up. The thing with beating around the bush is, for the person who is doing so, is taking away the harshness of what he or she has to say. Being direct is laying out everything for the person to hear, whether or not they want to hear. But thats the thing with being frank, its not about telling them what they want to hear, but rather what they need to hear. They deserve that much at least. Beating around the bush can also be very annoying, most people don’t like it because you are simply rambling and not getting around to the point, but we can’t help to do so because we get so caught up in everything else and the situation. We always try and consider the other’s persons feelings when being honest, but by lying, in effect, we disregard their feelings which is wrong.
Ming: I think beating around the bush is like preaching, exactly like what you said though. I was caught in this dilemma problem recently… so hard to think.

Ming: so sad, in dilemma… actually i don’t want to think at all.. but something has no choice but to think.
It’s true that human will be voice out all their comments as emotions do play a part in your honesty, for me, I’ll tend to put myself the others shoe before actually making whatever comments i want.
Different comment will revoke different emotions from others, example, bad comments will feel sad about it. So it’s better for you to put across the comment as your own before saying it out ^^
Sly: I also put myself in others shoe and try to understand their feeling before commenting or giving advice such. so you mean it’s best to put across the comment as your own? rephrase it first?

I just want to let you know, I actually like the piece of writing on your site. But I am using Firefox on a machine running version 9.04 of Crashbang Ubuntu and the design aren’t quite correct. Not a strong deal, I can still fundamentally read the articles and research for information, but just wanted to inform you about that. The navigation bar is kind of difficult to apply with the config I’m running. Keep up the great work!
